The Black Lotus Part 1

When a collectible game card gets big enough that it is recognized in the popular vernacular, and gets its own NPR episode on Planet Money, it's a pretty big deal.  Even a lot of people that don't know what Magic The Gathering is understand what a Black Lotus is.  The funny thing is that I used to own one of these when I was a kid.  I don't exactly remember what I traded to get it, but I do remember exactly what I got when I traded it away at a swim meet in 6th grade.

I got a mirror universe, mox pearl, moat, gravity sphere, and some other chaff.  Certainly not exactly anything to scoff at, but also...  I GOT RIPPED OFF!  Well, I finally went out and got another one of them now.  I'll never play with it, so I decided to get it slabbed.
