Bring Back The Old Themed Box Sets

The turn of the century brought forth some amazing card sets from Upper Deck that were termed "Master Collections" and featured amazing cards, jersey swatches, and autographs from legendary teams.  The Brooklyn Dodgers set had a great Sandy Koufax autograph, there was a legendary (and incredibly expensive now) NBA Hall of Famer set, a Los Angeles Lakers set, and a Muhammad Ali set.  This expounded on some previous box sets idea, for example Stadium Club Murphy (conveniently packaged in a baseball stadium shaped box) and the 1992 Pinnacle Joe Dimaggio set, which included an autograph Dimaggio in every hobby set.

Upper Deck tried to bring this stuff back recently, but they did a hodgepodge of allsport stars and it really didn't work too well, and it was really expensive.  They also did a Michael Jordan theme box and a Tiger Woods theme box.  Both of these were kind of cool, but again were really expensive and provided little value to the non group-breaker.  I really wish the companies would do more of this.  Maybe with the success of the Transcendent sets the companies will come around to the idea of a box set featuring particular teams.  Can you imagine a Chicago Cubs or a New York Yankees box set?  I wouldn't be able to click pre-order fast enough.
