2020 Topps Transcendent Party Part 3
At 1715, the lobby of the hotel filled up with a bunch of dudes waiting around looking like they were going to their old-man prom. Then we all piled onto two tour buses and got carted over to Chase Field. I didn't know what to expect. A lot of the usual suspects were there, and there were a lot of new faces as well. Some breakers, Fish, and a whole lot of blowoutcards forum members. I met a lot of great people, some of whom were there for the swag and some who were there for the love of Ken Griffey Jr.
We got to the stadium and registered, then immediately proceeded down onto the field for some appetizers and drinks. I got to walk around the field and take some amazing panorama pictures. It was really fantastic to be able to explore the field, and the open bar sure didn't hurt either.
Then we headed upstairs to get seated for dinner and to begin the main event. Helping us along was the Bobcat, who had his own cards that he signed for some of the younger fans. For those that don't know, it's a nickname from the old stadium coined by one of Jay Bell's sons - It was the Bank One Ballpark, or BOB for short. BOBcat. Hah.
