Good Things in Small Packages

 By now, my unabashed adoration of Juan Soto should be evident.  In my quest to collect his cards, sometimes things come up that are off the mainstream track.  I think that mini cards qualify as this.  Even though they are carbon copies of main set cards, they are....  little.  The Heritage and Heritage High series minis are pack inserted and are one of the only (the only?) serial numbered non-autograph and non-chrome cards in the series.  As far as I can remember, they are numbered to 100.  Although Juan Soto's 2018 Heritage High image is widely derided for being ugly (it is!) the mini is still rare. 

Another mini is the iconic US300 2018 Update mini.  These cards, however, were not issued in with the 2018 Update set.  They were available as an online exclusive and are quite limited as well.  There are not serial numbers on the cards, but it is widely believed that there are no more than 150 cards available for any particular subject in this set.  Plus the picture is just so dope.

Don't let other collectors or armchair investors railroad you into a specific collection or player.  Do what you enjoy, and make sure you invest in Juan Soto ;)
