Summer of 2001 Part 3
It's pretty hard to put together a set of /5 autograph inserts from one of the more popular players to play Baseball over the past 25 years. Archives is a pretty heavily opened product, and this has led to these cards trickling out into the marketplace slowly over the past couple of years. It's funny to see the pricing on them, as they go at auction for some $200 or so, and occasionally, I will hit a buy-it-now or best-offer around that same number. Then you've got your hostage-taking sellers that "Can't take a penny less than $900." Great, have fun with your cardboard. I guess one of the advantages to the set being serial numbered to 5 is that people just don't try and put the thing together :) Enjoy the updated images from the slow set-build.
