The Enlarging Market of Collectible Cards

 

Steve Aoki is a world famous electronic dance music DJ, also well known for throwing cake at people and for being the son of a famous restauranteer (Beni Hana's anyone?).  

He also recently started a coffee and cards shop and is branching out into the collectible card world.  I do enjoy his music, but thought it was kind of cool for Topps to do a Topps x Aoki baseball card series.  The cards look great.  It was a lot more popular than expected, but the absolute highlights were the hard-signed Steve Aoki cards.

I'm certain there are many more crossover opportunities, and excitedly look forward to the next project.
