Wax Prices are Getting Crazy
I don't bust a lot of wax any longer. I still love gambling and absolutely love baseball, soccer, and sportscards in general, but the hobby is getting very pricey. This box of Tribute cost me $450, and that was considered a "Good Deal." Of course, I love on card autographs. My box was an absolute gem, with a rookie autograph (redemption, grr) of Jo Adell, a sweet Griffey Jr. memorabilia, and of course this red refractor Mike Trout on-card autograph. Hard to think that you need to hit a short numbered parallel of one of the game's best ever players just to make your box positive expected value (+EV). Crazy times we live in.
